Cuisine is a recipe database/menu planner program. It comes with many recipes installed and you can easily add your own. Categorize your recipes for easy look up and searching. Build a meal plan from your recipes and then print a shopping list for that meal. Print any recipe. It includes an import and export feature for exchanging recipes with other Cuisine users. It also supports recipes in Meal Master format.
Cuisine is an easy to use database designed to catalog recipes and plan meals. It can categorize and save hundreds of recipes in a cookbook, displaying them in a natural "recipe card"-like fashion on your screen. You may print recipes or simply use your screen as a reference as you prepare them. You can easily adjust the size of the display so you can see the recipe on your computer screen from across the kitchen. Cuisine allows you to create multiple cookbooks. Then you can customize the categories within the cookbook. Now you can have a deserts cookbook, a pasta cookbook, a bread cookbook, and so on. Printing has been enhanced. You now have a print preview feature, plus you can set margins and define headers and footers. Cuisine also has a powerful Meal function which allows you to put together several recipes, adjust their servings for the number of people you'll be having, and print out a shopping list of everything you'll need to prepare the meal. You can turn a recipe for a 2-person soup into a 40-serving feast, or reduce 30 servings worth of cookies to a manageable dozen. The interface is simple enough that most users should be able to get around with little or no extra information. For those not quite so confident, the manual will take you step-by-step through creating your own recipes and meals. As you progress through the manual you will get into more advanced features such as preparing a Meal, adjusting servings, creating a shopping list.
