This is the premiere computerized periodic table of elements. It now contains 115 elements, with 800+ isotopes and 500+ radioactive decay trees. You can graph element properties and print nearly every window. It also contains a molecular weight calculator. The element names have been updated to conform to the recently approved IUPAC names. A chemical nomenclature quiz has been added to the four existing quizzes. Periodic Table has a tool bar and status bar for ease of use. Context sensitive help is available throughout the program. Legends stay put and their position is remembered between sessions. The main window remembers its position and size from one session to the next. Three different group name standards are supported and can be set by the user. The 32-bit version has separated the tool bar into three dockable toolbars. Dockable tool bars can be moved to any side of the window by just clicking and dragging. It also has an element bar that lets you select any element in the table from a dropdown list. The list can even be sorted by atomic number or alphabetically by name. A new data item has been added to the more than 30 others: Specific Gravity. The decay trees are clearer and easily followed. You can also get the decay energy information on a decay by double-clicking on a nuclide on the decay window. The font used by the decay trees can be set by the user. And back by popular demand, you can display the decay trees in icon format as in version 2.x The decay trees now display which metastable state a decay belongs to right on the chart. The data window is tabbed so you can very easily switch from one data section to another. The element property dialog allows graphing the property and adding additional properties to the graph. It has a molecular weight calculator, an Atomic % to Weight % converter, and a radioactive dose rate estimator. Periodic Table supports the use of the Windows clipboard to aid in using the information in presentations, school homework, and technical documents. A printed manual is included.
