I have installed Who Said That and when I run it, I get a message about SHARE being needed. How do I get it?

If you are running Windows 3.1 you may see this message. The database engine used by Who Said That requires that  SHARE.EXE be loaded prior to running Windows. If you don't you will see the above mentioned message. This is a file that is part of DOS. It should be in your DOS directory. You can fix it by adding the following line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file on a line before  the WIN command.

C:\DOS\SHARE.EXE

This example assumes that your DOS directory is on your 'C' drive and is named 'DOS'.

Note: you will not see this message with Windows for Workgroups or Win95 or Windows NT. These systems replaced SHARE.EXE with their own sharing functions.
