I just installed version 1.41. When I try to run it, I get a message saying 'File Not Found' What gives? That was a bug in our install script. It was not installing one of the required .DLL files. It has been corrected in version 1.42. I have installed Zippidy Do Da and when I run it, I get a message about SHARE being needed. How do I get it? If you are running Windows 3.1 you may see this message. The database engine used by Zippidy Do Da requires that SHARE.EXE be loaded prior to running Windows. If you don't you will see the above mentioned message. This is a file that is part of DOS. It should be in your DOS directory. You can fix it by adding the following line to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file on a line before the WIN command.
This example assumes that your DOS directory is on your 'C' drive and is named 'DOS'. Note: you will not see this message with Windows for Workgroups or Win95 or Windows NT. These systems replaced SHARE.EXE with their own sharing functions. I've just installed Zippidy Do Da and when I try to run it I get the message: Access to the specified device, path, or file is denied. What can I do? There is a conflict between a number of Visual Basic programs (which is what Zippidy Do Da is written in) and Microsoft AntiVirus. There is no virus attached to Zippidy Do Da, if you recieved the program from us. Zippidy Do Da is not the only Visual Basic program that is affected by this problem. Contact Microsoft for an update to Microsoft AntiVirus.
